Innovation From Tuck Tech
TOTE 'N BOAT According to their website, TuckTech has invented a new word: "Outdoorigami" (ôwt·dôr·é·gâ·mé) - The art of folding durable plastic into structural equipment. The TOTE 'N BOAT is a folding canoe made from a flexible material called Polypropylene. When folded, it is neat little 14"in. X 48"in. X 4"in. package that wieghts only 32 pounds. When fully assembled, it is 9.5 feet long and has a beam (width) of 34 inches. It carries two people and has a weight capacity of 450 pounds. Assembly time is 15 minutes or less, It has the durability and feel of a hard shell canoe without all the associated headaches. The canoe is stronger than most plastic or fiberglass canoes, and is equally as tough in the punishment department. You can bump rocks, logs, and branches without damaging it, no matter what the temperature .... even sub zero weather. For any outdoor activity that requires portability and water access, this one is a keeper. |
